Sam Will Critique Your Site For FREE! Here's How ...

In my last issue (#38), I had critiqued someone's website and had written up the notes on how this individual can improve their site ... and hence, increase sales, subscribers, profits and so forth. The feedback I received regarding this last issue was awesome.

And hence, I noticed that a lot of people want to hear more about my critiques and/or want their own sites to be critiqued.

So, I'm going to start doing a few critiques and see how it goes. At the bottom of this page is our feedback survey form. Please fill it out as usual and let me know your thoughts. Now, if you want your site to be critiqued, make a note with your URL and my permission to print up my comments in upcoming issues.

Lastly, please don't simply say "hey Sam, here's my site ... critique it!" First, let me know what you thought about THIS issue so I can better learn to give you more of what you want. Next, let me know what specific problems you are having at your site and what you specifically need assistance with.

I can't critique every aspect of your web business. So the more specific you can be, the better. Oh, if you want, I can even critique the design of your site ... or your ad copy ... or your newsletter. Pretty much any aspect of your web business.

BUT, I'm going to repeat it ... be specific! And one last thing, I'm obviously going to get a ton of emails from people wanting their sites to be critiqued. So, please do not get angry or disappointed if yours doesn't get picked. It's just random or maybe I chose a specific site because I hadn't covered a certain topic or whatever. I do NOT have any specific criteria ... whatever I'm in the mood for.

Basically, just give me your feedback for this issue as usual and as an added bonus, I may also give you a free critique. Simple as that. And thanks in advance for all of your detailed comments!

Sam, how long did it take for you to become successful online and what was the real secret?

Well, the first week we had $10,000+ in NET profit. First month over $50,000 and by the end of the year a million dollars NET! And, I was doing this all part-time and I never spent a penny on advertising.

Haha ... boy, I wish that was true. Okay, that's a lie and I'm being sarcastic. But believe it or not, I get a ton of emails with people having totally unrealistic expectations similar to what I wrote.

I guess it's not really their fault. A bit of optimism mixed in with a lot of BS you hear from marketers (and TV infomercials) who are trying to sell their products and services to you by painting a beautiful picture of "ease and total automation from day one".

The truth is it took many weeks and months before I actually started to make money. First thing is I was afraid of the Internet. I'm not good with computers. So, I didn't want to risk much or any money at all.

So basically, I started "broke". I probably spent the first 3-6 months learning. That's all I did in fact. Bought every damn marketing course I could get my hands on and spent some time learning to design websites.

I did that at nights and worked during the day to supplement this new business venture. Yeah, it sucked and it was totally hard. I remember working around the clock. I had no life.

But I was determined to make it work and give it 100%. If I failed, fine ... at least I gave it my all and had no regrets.

So anyway, after the learning curve I started a site selling information how-to books (as I'm successfully doing now with the Cash Flow Reporter) and the first month I made like $200. So basically, after 6+ months of hard work I had made only $200 measly dollars.

Oh, one other thing. Back then, we didn't have all the tools and automation and marketing courses that YOU have access to. It was hell. Everything was new and done by hand and it took forever.

To top it off, we had dialup connection so things were damn slow (especially with computers back then that were a fraction of the speed and power of today's mega computers).

As you can see, I didn't become "rich" over night. It took many nights and weeks and months. Heck, if I recall correctly, that first year I had a net profit of only $10,000. I guess that's not bad. But for all the work and time I had invested (and sacrificed), it didn't seem enough.

But, I kept on going ... and things started to compound after awhile. I started to get really good at different marketing tactics and much LESS time and money was being wasted and the profits just kept growing.

Now, what's the "real secret" to my success?... I know this is gonna sound boring ... but it was hard work, persistence and patience. Trust me, I'm not technical and I'm bad with computers, so if I can make it work on the Internet, YOU can also. So MANY times I wanted to give up ... but for whatever reason, I didn't.

But most people actually do things the opposite. Instead of sticking it out month after month with ONE project, they simply quit after a few weeks and start something new.

The truth is that in life that just doesn't work. That's how most people diet. They try one kind of diet for a few weeks, give up ... gain the weight back (and then some) and find ANOTHER diet and try that one and keep repeating this crazy cycle.

Let me tell you something ... ALL diets work. It's the person who fails. And this goes with marketing and business as well. THEY all work, but the person just gives up way too soon, quits and walks away when success was just around the corner.

Pay attention right now and see if you understood everything I just said. Most of you will be disappointed with this issue thinking "man, that sucked ... Sam didn't reveal any cool marketing tactics. All he talked about was stupid 'persistence' garbage ... try telling that to my credit card bill."

But see, that's the thing ... whether you utilize the marketing tactics at my site or in my newsletter or in my Cash Flow Reporter marketing course or anyone else's course. The secret is that everything works if you JUST STICK IT OUT.

Now, don't just keep repeating something that doesn't work. For example, pick one marketing tactic such as pop-unders (since that's hot right now) ... test it out small. See how it does. If it's not profitable, change the look of popunder and your ad copy or even the type of product you are promoting. Retest ... see how the results go the second and third time around.

Keep fine tuning until it IS profitable and then it's almost all automated and you can leave it alone. Then, you move onto another marketing tactic and repeat the same steps.

What I have written above is more important than anything else you'll read in any marketing course. This is why out of thousands of affiliates who are selling the same exact product, only a handful are successful.

Same product ... same advertising information ... same tools. The ONLY difference is that the successful affiliates have the drive and passion ... persistence and patience to MAKE it work and never give up!
